Solid large cheap stiff drinks. Bartenders can't seem to do anything even as complex as a Long Island without screwing up, so one star off for that. Keep it simple and get prepped for the rest of 3rd st.

We usually started the night at "Who's" for a fishbowl. Fishbowls are actual goldfish bowls full of a wonderment of different alcohols. It comes in two colors: classic Blue as well as Purple. It takes at least four alcohol-tolerant college kids to knock one back - even then it takes a while. That's why it's the perfect start to the evening, you just sit around and pass the fishbowl. When it's done, you've got a buzz and it's time to eat the more packed bars. Popcorn, a pool table, and a foosball table sit in the back. Lots of fun to be had.

Who's is by far my favorite bar. It has old school charm and attracts the best crowds. Made famous for there fishbowls that comes in red, blue, green, and purple. And in La Crosse one alcohol tolerant college kid can finish one off in 30 minutes. Trust me, I have seen it done. It has the best music selection, because it only plays music from a jukebox. So don't be cheap put a couple dollars in. You can hear anything from classic rock to rap, but no country please! If your looking for a party go on Friday or Saturday Night, otherwise it is just a chill place to hang with your close friends and watch a game.

I don't mind going here. Sometimes it's an older crowd, sometimes it's college kids. There is the retro vibe everyone is talking about but I'm not sure it's intentional. It's an ok place to meet people who want to go there. I haven't ever done a fish bowl and I am too old to try now.

i really hope that this place never changes. last time i was here, retro charm, an older crowd, if that can happen in a college town. and fish bowls. yeah, i know that i'm probably "too old" for fish bowls, but damn, sometimes its fun to have one. the flocked wall paper and the chandeliers are CLASSIC and CLASSY!

Killer retro decor, friendly bartenders and seemingly free from hordes of drunk collegiate types. A fine place to enjoy a libation. Pro tip: you can order food from Digger's Sting next door. You will be pleased.
